I am currently a college student at Calstate University Los Angeles. I am majoring in public health to pursue a career in pharmacy.
Experience
I have had previous tutoring experience at Glendale Community College tutoring ESL students as well as college level English such as Freshman English. Also, I have helped students strengthen their writing skills and proficiency. I also worked with a program called Summer Bridge at GCC with a professor inside the classroom. I helped high school students transition to freshman English. I want to be a tutor to develop interpersonal skills, and to help students where they are most struggling in. My previous experience tutoring allowed me to strengthen my abilities as a tutor and become a better writer. I am a kind, diligent and positive student striving for success. I will help to the best of my abilities and use the resources I have to complete a success tutoring session with your son or daughter. In addition to having a passion in writing, I also have a passion for medicine to help people in ways that I can. Tutoring allows me to break out of my shell and become more confident in myself. Knowing I can help students is a rewarding feeling because I too as a student can relate and acknowledge the difficulties it comes with it.
