I am a tutor residing in Glendale, CA. I hold a bachelor's degree in English Literature from Berkeley, and a degree in Law from Georgetown University Law Center. I excel at tutoring a wide variety of subjects, but my passion is in tutoring Reading and Writing. I specifically enjoy the topics of Essay Editing, Literature, Reading, Writing, and Logical Reasoning. I also enjoy helping students prepare for state exams and other standardized tests like ACT, SAT, and GRE. I believe that learning is most effective when the tutor and student set goals together and measure progress. In addition, the tutor should be able to tailor their instruction to match the learning style of the student. I attempt to get my students invested in their own learning. I am a supporter of continual education, and I consistently promote its importance to my students. A proper education leads to increased confidence, self-esteem, and an overall better quality of life. I am a lifelong learner myself, and I use my positive attitude towards learning to help motivate and encourage other young minds. Tutoring others give me the opportunity to help students work towards their own educational or professional goals. When I am not teaching others, I enjoy photography and reading.
