Hobbies
I have been studying and speaking French for 8 years. I have attended the University of Bordeaux in the spring for a study abroad opportunity where I am involved in a full immersion program and took mathematics courses in French. For two summers in a row I have done an internship at US Naval bases located in Corona, CA and in Dahlgren, Virginia. At each base I conducted research for the Navy, which have resulted in soon-to-be published papers. When tutoring I try to have an engaging experience with the student so that he/she understands each concept, how to approach problems, and solve them in the most efficient way. I want my students to realize the beauty of mathematics and how it really is a useful subject that they should appreciate fully. I am open to teaching students of any age and work well with anyone determined to learn the subject. I hope to hear from you soon!
