Education
I am a recent college graduate, having majored in Biology and minored in Psychology at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (UL). I was a member of the Biology Society and the UL Honors Program. My overall GPA was a 3.87. In high school, I was home-schooled and dual-enrolled at UL while still a senior. This allowed me to get ahead in my classes and I graduated in just 3 years of college.
Experience
I started tutoring as a junior in high school and have helped a wide range of students from ages 4 to 22. I have also worked as a private swimming instructor and personal trainer which has increased my ability to address the specific needs of each student and formulate action plans. On my standardized tests I earned a 28 on the ACT, 29 on the SAT (equivalent), and a 501 on the MCAT. Science and math have always interested me and I love to share my passion for them with other people. In my experience, people only dislike the subjects that they don't understand, so I try to help my clients understand subjects that are difficult for them so that they can enjoy learning.
